Studying Religion and Atheism From Different Perspectives

May 8, 2007

I read in a review of Christopher Hitchens’s book God Is Not Great that he approaches the argument for atheism differently than his predecessors and contemporaries. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Bertrand Russell — Philosophy

  • Richard Dawkins — Science

  • Christopher Hitchens — Literature

I like this diversity of approaches, and I’ve just purchased Hitchens’ book and will be reading it after I finish The God Delusion by Dawkins.
