The Goal of SocialTech is to Broadcast You as a Personal Stimuli Frequency

I’ve written before about how SocialTech’s main purpose is to present each of us as an API, and I want to expand on that a bit more here.

First of all we need to talk about the concept of presenting a person. You are your thoughts, your ideas, your preferences, your sense of humor, etc. These things are finite, tangible, and can be captured. When you interact with someone, all the things that you are affect that person. Your frequency interacts with theirs to stimulate both parties. It’s the intersection of interests, likes, dislikes, etc. that creates the unique composite frequency that makes up a friendship.

The point of SocialTech is to broadcast oneself (as defined by these preferences and nuances) as a stimulus frequency so that it’s available to more than just the person in front of you. It’s the transmission of the same force you exude during a personal, face-to-face interaction–but publishable. All the things that make a person unique are simply being isolated, magnified, and made available to the world. It’s the broadcasting of YOU as a frequency.
