Determinism + Randomness = Freedom?

1. There’s no freedom in a deterministic universe

2. There’s no freedom in a universe where our actions are random

3. So why would we have freedom if we combined the two?

There are few things more "hand wavy" than this.

It constitutes a genuine faith-based claim to think, given our knowledge of the universe, that we as humans make free choices.
