Bush’s Legacy Condensed to One Sentence

I’ve come to a simple conclusion regarding George W. Bush’s legacy. Here’s how it’ll happen:

  1. Within a few years we will leave Iraq in the way that matters most, i.e. we will no longer have enough of a physical, visible presence to apply the counter-force to the country’s natural state of chaos.

  2. The new Iraqi government will fragment and falter, leaving a vacuum.

  3. Iraq will become a battleground for power, with various extremist groups and political figures vying for control. The entity that will end up on top is their very influential and powerful neighbor to the east.

George W. Bush will be remembered most for one thing–being the President who gave Iraq to Iran. ::
