Trump, Women, and the Briar Patch

Liberals seem to think that the way to take Trump down is to talk about how aggressive and courageous and reckless he used to be, with the hope that people will believe he still might be that way.

They’re saying things like:

Oh, he used to be surrounded by tons of young, attractive women, and he’s always been so rich, and such a braggart, and he often didn’t treat those women well…

And they think this is going to hurt him. It reminds me of the cartoon where the rabbit gets caught and tells the fox,

Just don’t throw me in the briar patch!

Which of course he does.

Trump’s supporters like him because he’s loud and rich and powerful and always makes sure to be surrounded by beautiful women. So the worst possible thing you could do is talk about how he’s loud and rich and powerful and always seems to be surrounded by beautiful women.

Next they’re going to be like:

Oh, and he’s so tall, and everywhere he goes he makes people respect him, because of all his money and power!

That’ll convince the Trump supporters to drop him. Great job.

It’s almost like a genius from the Trump camp is planning the opposition’s talking points from the inside. There’s almost no discernible difference at this point.
