Samsung recently released their latest mobile devices—the Note 4 and Galaxy S5, and all of the anti-Apple types are focusing on how much better the specs are compared to the new iPhones.
Unfortunately, the statistics don’t translate to experience. The devices don’t actually perform.
The stats above look at graphical functions, and we can see that the brand new Note 4 gets utterly destroyed by the new iPhones. This is using half the cores, and often half or one third of the memory. Oh, and they’re also worse than last year’s iPhone as well.
So they have double the megapixels in their cameras, yet take worse pictures. And they have “better” screens that can’t perform in actual graphical applications.
And we wonder why application and game designers release for iOS first? It’s because Apple’s engineers focus on what actually matters instead of what looks good in specs.
