Not sure if you guys have ever heard of Steve Pavlina. He started blogging like a year or two ago and his content was just really choice stuff. It was personal development stuff, and quite excellent. Plus he received a bachelors degree in like 3 semesters. He’s just an overall cool guy.

Over the last year or so he launched himself into being one of the most successful bloggers ever. He makes many(s) thousand(s) of dollar(s) per month just from his site alone. Very impressive.

Over the last few months, however, he’s just steadily morphed into some kind of alien. He now frequently talks about pshycic readings, changing reality with your thoughts (no, really changing reality), and a host of other new-age-oriented topics.

When you combine that with the fact that he’s pushing all these various self-help products oriented around the same areas I just come away with this really negative feeling about the overall package. It comes off pimpish, in a Benny Hinn kind of way. I just wish we had the old Steve Pavlina back.

Anyone else noticed the same thing?
