I don’t know why Dana White hasn’t secured Fedor in the UFC yet, but it’s seriously hurting my feelings. Fedor is Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre rolled into one, only heavier and stronger, and less mortal.

Please, for the love of God, bring Fedor to the UFC.

I grow tired of hearing Anderson Silva being called the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. It’s not that Anderson’s not a God — he clearly is — but they’re leaving someone out of the equation. They’re forgetting about Georges St. Pierre.

Silva just destroyed Irvin in one punch at 205, and there’s no doubt that he could dominate at that weight, but I think he’s right when he says his place is at 185. I think he should stay there at 185, and that St. Pierre should come up from 170 to meet him.

That is the fight I want to see — Silva vs. St. Pierre.

The winner of that contest would be the true pound-for-pound champion, and calling Silva by that title before he faces St. Pierre is premature.:

Forrest did it. He beat Rampage’s ass.

The coolest part of it was how Rampage handled it. In the post-fight interview he was asked what happened, and he was like, “Forrest whooped my ass, that’s it.” He was totally cool about it, as if to say it was no big deal, and that he was equally likely to have beat Forrest’s ass as well (which he was).

Overall it was just a great fight. A full five rounds between two of the best fighters, and more importantly — personalities — in the MMA world.

Long live Rampage. Long live Forrest.

If you’re into MMA and don’t know about Cung Le yet, attack yourself. This guy is a Vietnamese former kickboxer fighting out of San Jose, CA (home). He’s seriously impressive. He’s got a sick range of attack techniques — punches, kicks, backfists, and extremely strong takedowns — including a scissor kick one (like in the movies).

The fighters I’m currently most excited about are:

• Frank Shamrock
• Fedor Emelianeko
• Roger Huerta
• George St. Pierre
