Creative. Excellent.
Um, these are in game graphics. Absolutely unbelievable.
Just wow. Completely stunning that you can do this with your mobile device/phone.
This is a Tetris player.
And now for something completely different—a game based on a database. No, not a game that uses a database. It is a database. From the site:
THRILL as you insert your very own row in the “rows” table!
With careful selection of SQL queries, you will soon have three or even four-digit numbers in some of the fields in your row! Other queries may allow you to use those numbers to subtract numbers from rows entered by other players — all while pushing the numbers in your own row even higher!

Tap Tap Revenge, by Taplous, might be the coolest game for iPhone that I’ve seen so far. Not the game I’ll play the most, but perhaps the coolest. It’s hard to describe, but think Rock Band for the iPhone.
Many hours of your life will be wasted as a result of this link. If you have free will, don’t click it. I implore you.

(Oh, by the way, it’s like the best flash game ever…no pressure)
I can’t get into soccer. To me, they mostly take turns losing the ball, and seem to take shots on goal very infrequently. This, of course, leads to very low scoring games. Great, 0-1 with 5 shots taken in an hour and a half.
Don’t get me wrong, when there’s a brilliant drive that comes screaming down the field, and it culminates with a powerful strike on goal (even if it misses or is blocked) — that’s exciting. My problem is that this constitutes like .07% of games I watch. I watched like 10 games during the World Cup and it was mostly an exercise in frustration.
Of course, I am into MMA, so maybe my standard for action is a bit too high.
