This from a guy who sleeps with his step daughter! Great person to get parenting/moral guidance from.

First of all, it wasn't his daughter. It was an adopted daughter of a
woman he was dating. I would say the circumstances were far from
normal in that situation, and since we don't know any more than the
media does about the situation, I'd say the best approach would be to
    reserve judgement.

OK so you are correct, It was the adopted daughter of his girlfriend. When Allen first entered the girls life she was 10. 12 years later they are married after her adopted mother and Allen broke up. I think the relationship is far from an example of good behavior. Would you agree with that statement?

I would say it's suspect, without question. The real issue is how much
they interacted while she was a child. If it was a lot, then I don't
like it. But if it was hardly ever, and he really got to know her a a
woman then it's not that big a deal to me.

Looking past his infamous relationship, and actually putting this in line with everything else he says, it's hard to grant it any weight. He doesn't do candid and honest, by reputation. The fact that he says this at all, considering his extreme, bad boy character, cannot be but construed as ironic. (And if it's not meant to be ironic, it's intended to be dishonest.)

Love his movies. I grew up with them, in a way I probably shouldn't have. His zinger jokes didn't go over my head but gave my pre-adolescence a concussion.

To me, it is just wrong, but I understand your point.

our media usually gives so much attention to the athletes,

singers and actresses who deserve recognition, but it’s nice

to see a balance. Thank you
