Speaking of upgrades:

[nova20@warthog:~]$ grep "model name" /proc/cpuinfo
model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz

I love me some hyperthreading. It also kicked my half-gig of ram up to full speed (400 MHz DDR). Soon I'll add another gig to that... oh, and it has an 800MHz FSB and a full 1024 kb of cache.

It flies now. i also got a new video card: nVidia GeForce 6800XT w/ 512 MB DDR2

WoW runs around 25-30 fps at 1024x768, high detail landscape... through wine. I wish Blizzard would write a linux native client.

I also noticed as I was writing this that I'm not sure which to use: is 'B' bytes and 'b' bits or is it the other way around?
