Obviously the other people touched themselves at night and didn’t deserve redemption.

So god was killin’ them while jesus was saving them? That’s a pretty sick game, remind me not to worship those fictional characters.

Maybe she was left alive because she has some purpose to fulfill. (This purpose might seem trivial to us, but might have some meaning to an eternal entity like God. Chaos theory etc. etc.) The others that might have been praying, were spared from the turmoils of this life and their existence would be better served if they exited their mortal coil at this point, so they died hopefully a quick and merciful death. I choose to believe life is not the end of existence. If I believed it was the end, I would kill myself right now, because without faith in something more, this life seems pointless.

Okay then for a moment lets all assume there is God. 1-Now pray honestly & sincerely to ask Him to shown us the right path. Guide us to the truth & the right belief if at all He exists. 2-See that wasnt so hard. Now go back to ur athiestic ways. –cheers

Daniel – I agree with your post, and all your other posts on religion. Your arguments are pretty sound. I just feel you are over stating the topic with too many posts – you’ve made your point – move on.

It's events like this one that the christian church prays on. I don't say it was the hand of God that brought that disaster upon her house and I definitely don't say it was God's hand that saved her. It's just a freaking coincidence.
