Sickening. I just don't understand how someone can be so despicable. Burning babies?

I just watched a documentary on Liberia in the 1990's and i am totally amazed at how disgusting humans can be. It's nothing new, but you seem to hear more details today.

A book I'm reading, Sniper on the Eastern Front, WWII about a german sniper, it goes into graphic detail about what happens during war. Which is a little different than Soldat, another book recounting WWII from the german military perspective. I guess that just goes down to what the author/first person is going to actually tell you.

I went a little off track, but this kind of thing is not just confined to Africa. it doesn't seem too long before it'll start happening here.

I've dealt with a kid at a job a few years ago that had no respect for anything. I was going through school and working at a warehouse, most everyone was great to work with. I came back from lunch in my car and was talking about a book that I was reading, he overheard and laughed, saying "Huh, this fool's reading"

The rest of us just stared at him. WTF? He later went to prison for killing some other kid in a driveby shooting. I can picture him being in this group.

It's not all the youth of America, but we have a lot of kids that probably would be this heartless and cruel if given the power.
