    I’ve heard this entropy argument before, but I’ve never seen the user admit that complexity can increase as long as there is energy entering the system. Perhaps this guy doesn’t know about the sun.

    There’s a fun little experiment you can try at home. I’ve collected a bunch of the little tabs from the top of soda cans. If they are put into a bowl randomly, they are in random positions (no surprise). If you shake the bowl (with a pretty wide range of force levels), the tabs align with one another. The system spontaneously becomes more ordered. No conscious thought is needed .. just a little energy.
