The Struggle in Iran is Real

    excellent.

Now if we can get our government to acknowledge that people want our help, we can stop riding the fence. Our encouragement, our solidarity with the revolutionaries, if anything at all.

Remember, we're the Great Satan, either way.

I , and all America, have been an enemy of the Ayatolla's since I was in first grade. The less he has a stranglehold on their country, the better the world is.

It's too late to hope for a bloodless democracy. By abstaining, we default in siding with those in power, despite the will of the Iranian people. In inaction, we abandon the future of a progressive government we are already natural allies with.

We could say, nothing ventured, nothing gained, but it doesn't apply. In this, if nothing is ventured, we simply lose.
