The Knifeth Arriveth

Well, it’s here. I can’t say enough about this knife — it’s just truly awesome. It’s fairly small compared to the pieces I’ve carried in the past, but the extreme lightweight is more a function of the materials used than its reduced size.
The action on it is what impresses me most — it’s absolute perfection. Soooo smooth; you have to feel it to believe it. The locking mechanism is quite sweet as well — the button is quite small and it feels very sure when locking and unlocking the blade.
The part I was most worried about seems to be less of an issue than I thought. The piece doesn’t have a clip on it, and instead comes with a sheath to be worn on the pocket. The knife fits inside the sheath and is retreived via the leather lanyard attached to the end. I am not completely used to this yet, but I think there’s hope for me getting comfortable with the system.
By the way, anyone wanting to read about how good these knives really are should check out this article. After reading that you’ll likely share some of the enthusiasm I have for this new addition to my wardrobe.
