		<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree with this fully.&lt;br&gt;During good times we need to learn to save, both as individuals and as a country.  This way when the economy goes south we will be able to cope through it.  As it stands right now, because we where all in debt when times where good, now that times are bad we don&#039;t have a cushion to keep us afloat.  Instead of having a reserve to continue paying the bills we only have debt, which is causing so many to go bankrupt, which in turn is bringing the economy down even further.  If we had been saving instead of spending we could be saying, &quot;I don&#039;t have the money to buy all the stuff I was buying before, but I can still pay my bills and go out every so often.&quot;&lt;br&gt;If we return to a debt-based economy that doesn&#039;t actually produce products of real value, we will find ourselves right back here again, but it will be much worse.&lt;/p&gt;
