Teabaggers: Angry, White, Selfish, Afraid of Change

Check out this set of pictures taken at the recent 9/12 teabagger event at the capital. Oh, and I’d add “mostly racist” too my list of descriptors, too. Not everyone there, of course, but I’d say a good portion of them.
I hate to jump to conclusions, but it seems pretty obvious from the pictures, and what we’ve seen before from these types of gatherings, that we’re dealing with a bunch of goddamn idiots. Any place you hold up a sign of Sarah Palin, and people applaud, is a place to fear. The level of stupidity required (on both counts) is nothing short of extraordinary.
And what happened to the non-white people? Were there any at all? Seriously. In all the coverage of these events I’ve seen nothing but angry white people.
I seriously want to go to one of these and take a poll on what percentage there believes in evolution, and how many believe Jesus will return within 20 years. I bet the numbers will be frightening.
Fucking idiots, if you ask me. Worse than idiots. Angry idiots, with guns. Who like Sarah Palin. That’s pretty much the worst kind. ::
