Syria Backing Hezbollah

Syria’s released a statement saying that Israel and the United States, “are trying to wipe out Arab resistance in every land under occupation.”
I guess that could be true, depending on the definition of “resistance”. If they define that as wanting to simply exist peacefully in the world, alongside Western nations, then I’d say they are mistaken. But if they define resistance as targeting “enemy” civilians and being dedicated to the violent destruction of Western ideals, then I guess I’d agree with him.
In the debate between freedom-fighter vs. terrorist it’s important to consider two main things: the nature of the oppression, and the tactics used by the resistance. I’d offer that the latter makes groups like Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists vs. just freedom-fighters.
