Stupid Design: Shooting Down The Idea That God Did Such A Great Job

This video is absolutely hilarious. It also underscores an idea that I’ve had for quite a while: people tend to make major mistakes when they’re uniformed on issues of scope and perspective. The biggest example of this is not understanding how much time is required for evolution.
This video points out that we tend to think things are well designed — hence pointing to a God. Well, they look well designed overall only because we tend to focus on beautiful things. We don’t take into account the rest of the universe. Enjoy:
