If you use Google Reader you can instantly “share” any entry you’re viewing by simply typing “S” (shift-s). This adds the story’s title and source to your very own feed of shared links. And that feed can even be published as a linkroll on your site. Very cool.

Well, I also use Google Bookmarks, which is pretty strong as well. The problem is that these two systems (Shared Items and Google Bookmarks) don’t work together. Here are the two features that would greatly improve things:
- The ability to linkroll (share) a site that you’re in the process of bookmarking.
- The ability to bookmark a story from within Google Reader.
