Check out the last story in this performance from This American Life. It’s performed by Malcolm Gladwell at The Moth — a place where people get together in Manhattan and tell stories.
Anyway, the last story — about 4/5 of the way in — is an excellent one from Gladwell. He claims it’s a fictional story, by the way, but I’m not sure I believe it.
