Media: “No Plot Against Obama”

Right. No credible plot against him, just a few guys with rifles, scopes, and swastikas.

Nothing to see here…move along…

At what point does it become a plot? Let’s review the checklist:

  1. White supremacist mouthbreathers. Check.
  2. Swatzitcas. Check.
  3. Rifles with scopes. Check.
  4. Basically said they were going to kill Obama (this is an important one). Check.
  5. Were found a few miles away from where the whole world knew he would be.

Hopefully the various media will figure out that this was a plot—regardless of the sophistication—and will call it what it is.

I feel for the Secret Service. The presidential detail just became a whole lot more hardcore.:

    I’m wondering why they chose Invesco (an open stadium) for his acceptance speech. I’m sure security will be tight but to have it in such an open space makes me nervous.

    I couldn’t believe how the news was blowing the threat off last night. Oh, they were high on meth, they didn’t intend on carrying it out…etc. WTF?

    One glaring problem here. Was there a “Plot”? Yes. Was it Credible?

    Not even close. You have 4 meth heads with one super powerful rifle which was sighted in allegedly to 750 yds. The problem? That super powerful rifle was a .22lr plinker.

    These guys have had absorbed a few too many fumes.
