    If you hadn’t sworn off Windows, I’d say you could easily create a web form to do a book search, add books, etc. in your database using Visual Studio.NET

    But I’m sure it’s not too hard to make something like that using php and mysql (or the database of your choice).

    OK, I’ve got a not-connected-to-the-world-except-when-synching Palm OS device rather than a Blackberry, but I’d assume that there is software for the Blackberry that lets it view spreadsheets. Why not just create a spreadsheet and put it in your Blackberry? It wouldn’t take much space (not including the spreadsheet viewing software). AND, you’d be able to search, sort by title, sort by author, sort by subject, etc.

    I know … it’s cooler to connect wirelessly to your home computer, but …
