&lt;p&gt;In the joke, the pigs represent &quot;the rest of us&quot; in IT, who get nauseated the moment we hear someone butt into any conversation about programming and proceed to explain why the language being discussed is utterly inferior when compared to Java.&lt;/p&gt;
