Introducing Nerdcore

I’d like to formally introduce all of my readers to the beautiful thing that is Nerdcore. Nerdcore is Rap for geeks, nerds, and anyone else that appreciates elements of those two cultures. If you’re into hacking, cracking, role playing, video games, or any of the associated activities, this is for you.
I asked my buddy Charlie Campbell to make an icon so that webmasters could show support for the genre. He did an awesome job.

Here’s the code to put it on your own site — image and all — including the hyperlink to the Wikipedia article discussing the history behind the movement. (Do me a favor, though, and point to your own copy of the image if possible)
At any rate, I highly encourage you to get into this stuff. My current favorite song is “The Legend” by ytcracker from his N.E.S album. The beginning of the second verse shows both how the geek culture makes it into the genre as well as the lyrical talent of many of the artists.
My heart’s wide open, goatse. My windows min like Ho Chi.
Beautiful. Geeky. Awesome.
