Over the weekend I was in my hometown visiting some family. On the way home, I was cruising about 80 (on my bike) when a souped up Mustang pulled up beside me, revved his engine and smiled. It was on, in a similar non-adversarial manner. We "raced" for a few moments until we came upon traffic, him peaking at about 130.

If you like the feeling, you should get a bike. You may like your 335i but there's just nothing like 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. My personal best is 140 on four wheels, 170 on two. I let up at 170 because, honestly, by that point it was just too damn stupid. One slip up and I wouldn't be sitting here writing this comment.

Yes, it's fun. MORE POWER! ;)

By the way, why the "WTF?" when he asked about a beer? I meet up with my mother and her fiancee occasionally and we all go for long bike rides. It's nothing for us to stop mid-way for a beer and a sandwich. It's not like we're riding around like drunk maniacs. It is, in my opinion, no different than having a beer over a business lunch and going back to the office.

Take care, enjoy the speed. =)

Please go to a racetrack and do your speeding there. It's safer for you and others on the road.

That's pretty sweet. I'd gladly race people if it wasn't so adversarial. That sounds like great fun. People are always so hostile about the road!

I think the moral of the story is that we all now know that D does now what robbing a liquor store feels like.

Ha.
