How NOT to Teach Gun Safety to a Classroom Full of Kids

You have to give him some serious credit for taking the point blank shot, without freaking out, and then trying to blend the incident into his “gun safety” message.

But then you have to take the credit away when he reaches for the rifle and then tries to convince the kids it’s really empty.

    What a #@@^ moron. And if he actually shot himself (as he apparently did) then to act as if nothing serious happened is NOT something that deserves credit. It WAS serious. You're right that he did well not to freak out, but to pretend that gunshots in real life are a bit like gunshots in cartoons (ie: no serious consequences) is NOT an appropriate lesson. I bet that this school doesn't have demos like that again for a long time.

    stupid dumbass. I can't believe he was waving a loaded weapon around, saying it wasn't loaded. He should have been able to see since the slide was pulled back. If i was one of those kids I would have left the room. Where the hell did they find that guy?
