How China Handles Obstacles to Economic Success

I also happen to believe that the 2008 Olympics, i.e. the billions they are bringing China in investment, are the only reason China hasn’t taken military action in Taiwan.

They don’t want to scare investors away before the Olympics. But once the money has come in and the commitments have been made (early 2009?) they are going to take very strong action. This I predict.

    Ugh. I to think we have been just discussing seatbelt and smoking laws. I can’t imagine having everything just taken away without a way to fight back. That’s how revolutions are started.
