Google Voice on a Verizon Android?

    It's things like this that led to ATT's announcement yesterday that they will now allow apps like Skype to run on the iPhone (using the ATT data network rather than only over wireless). My guess is that this announcement will open the floodgates of new apps for the iPhone.

    Two other considerations of mine are:

    * ATT's network availability versus Verizon's
    * Pricing, which contains two considerations:

    1. Will the cheapest Android plan be cheaper than the cheapest iPhone plan? I imagine the answer will be “yes”, quite possibly by a large margin, depending on if a data plan is required or not.

    2. How will similarly featured plans between Vz Android and ATT iPhone compare? Here again I expect Vz to be cheaper.
