Google Analytics = So Dissapointing

I think it’s just that they’ve been completely overwhelmed by the demand, which is why they stopped taking new users just a few days after launch. (Which I’m pretty bummed about since I’d like to get in on the deal!)

I’m sure this problem wasn’t happening before Google bought Urchin and the service was going for $499/month.

My issues with it have since ceased to exist. All of my pages have loaded nice and fast since just after I pointed this out to you. Maybe there’s a cache effect that takes a few days to kick in or something.

For us, the performance hit for a couple of days was definitely worth it as the stats provided are amazing. I run a store and for this in particular, Analytics just blows my mind. The ability to define a “sales funnel” identify where in the process that people bail is invaluable–as is the seemless tie in with adwords.

Interesting. Ok, well with that in mind, I’m going to try yet again. This time I’ll leave it for a while and see if it improves.

    Thanks, man.
