Yeah, you occassionally do say some good things about competing companies/products, but it's burried among the negative. Worst, though, is the attitude, and it's getting much worse as of late.

Well, seeing that you had a problem with that post, you might want to check out my followup to it.

http://radio.weblogs.com/0001011/2005/08/15.html#a10846

Regarding my fanboyness. Fair enough. That's why you can unsubscribe from blogs.

But, you do note that I work for the company, right? You do note that I attack the company occassionally, right? Name another blogger who attacks his/her own company. Go ahead. I'll wait for you to find one.

Now, look again at my blog. I say nice things about my competitors often. Now, find another blogger who says nice things about their competitors on a regular basis. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Thanks for noticing.

I have to say, though, that his comment is dead on. Using a link that says XML to link to your RSS feed isn't intuitive. However, his contortion of that problem into support for his own view is very off. He's essentially contributing to the problem by saying "support yet another alias for RSS." With all the various ways to identify RSS (and let's not make it more complicated by introducing Atom into the article), it'd be much easier to agree upon the one thing most people already recognize this by: RSS.
