Discovering Music For the First Time

Now that I’ve found NPR’s All Song’s Considered, and the SXSW conference, and Hypem, I’ve realized that my last decade of musical “discovery” has been a pitiful waste.
After listening to a couple episodes of All Songs Considered and browsing Hypem for 15 minutes I’m able to find more good music than I normally get exposed to in years.
What I’m telling you is that, if you love music, and you aren’t using these types of non-traditional sources to find new artists, then you’re about to have a rebirth.
