I’d say use whatever works best for you. Personally I got a Palm Tungsten|C which I find preferable to lugging lots of paper around and the fact that it syncs with Outlook makes life easier. The trick to any organizational system, is finding one that you are comfortable using, because if you put a schedule item in your PDA or on a piece of paper, but don’t check it later, then writing it down was pointless. For me the big advantage of puttting my schedule in Outlook and on my PDA is that I have audible alarms that yell at me when I need to do something.
