    hey there

well.. i’ve heard a lot of very good things about drupal and i think it’s really worth a look. But i think it’s more headed towards a community page, than a “simple” blog. I’ve switched from wordpress to serendipity about half a year ago and i really like it, mostly because of its great plugin system which makes writing your own plugins pretty fast and painless. But as i said, a lot of people i know love drupal and i really think you should have a look at it.

    Best wishes, Matthias

Or, you could write your own blogging software. That’s what I’m doing.

maybe it won’t be as cool as wordpress or drupal, but it’s still friggin’ cool. Check it out! Oh, and if you want to leave a comment, it might help to know that it uses Markdown formatting.

I switched from WordPress to Drupal a month or so ago. If all you want is a simple blog, WordPress is fine. Drupal can do that just as well, but all of its added features means you have the potential to do so much more with it than “just a blog”.
