Barely Functional

So, as you may have noticed, my site has slowed to the proverbial crawl. I’m in the process of trying to figure out what the problem is. It’s not AdSense, it’s not the WordPress beta (I downgraded to check), so it may be my host. Not sure yet.

Edit: It seems a very nice person (thanks Allan) has led me to the answer — Google Analytics. I’ve removed the code that allows it to work, and things have improved. Dissapointing.

The reason the solution was elusive is because I installed Analytics way before it started slowing down. But then I remembered there was a delay in them starting to process my data — turns out that was when it started.

:) Happy to help. Sucks that removing it seems to be the only solution. I stuck with it for a while on my site and have seen an improvement over the past couple of days. I’m going to stick with it for a while longer–I’m entralled by the pretty graphs ;) and see what happens.
