Are Creativity and Materialism Opposites?

    I've also noticed this in myself. My method of combating it is this: if the item I want to buy is “expensive”, say $50 or more, I mark it down on the calendar and wait a month. If I still want it in a month, I'll get it. Probably 95% of the time I'll be like “what the hell did I want that for?” and not get it. So far so good.
