I'm not sure this could rightly be considered a problem.

Is it such a curse to have several good options, with good reasons to purchase now as well as wait?

Or rather, it is worth asking if the Android community would be worse off if there were only one Android phone released per year. I'm inclined to think the opposite, that the multitude of phones spanning several networks will be a boon to any owners, in terms of community support as well as application development.

Interesting that you say the list of reasons you dont like Android is long. I wonder how much of it is going to be biased because of the device you use, how much is going to be based on hyperbole from journalist and how much will be based on hands on use?

The paradigm with iPhone and Android is a little different. The iPhone is a complete hardware/software solution. Android is just a software solution, like Ubuntu, OSX or Windows.
That devices with better hardware are released monthly is nothing new or specific to the Android. The good news is that as Android improves, its new releases will continue to run on the hardware it happens to run on.

Um, no. The list of reasons is pretty extensive. I'm working on that
post right now.

But if you read my site I would have thought you'd be smart enough to
