For those who read the article in the link above ...

Back when The Wizard of Oz was made, I think that most adult viewers realized that the scarecrow botched the Pythagorean Theorem when he got his diploma (it was social commentary). Now, most adult viewers don't even catch that (though they might feel something is somehow wrong).
