That failure surely couldn’t have come from a dearth of regulations.

But people will be happy because we avoided a greedy capitalist war monger and a honky-tonk beauty queen.

You are evidently living in a neat little fantasy world. Ron Paul is not going to be elected. He’s not an option at this time. I know because I was going to vote for him and supported him until he was pushed out.

Now we’re faced with a choice. You can “stick to your principles” and watch McCain destroy the whole fucking country, or you can grow the fuck up and look at the greater good. Under McCain/Palin you’re going to loose so many rights we might not even be able to have this debate anymore.

Get some fucking perspective, my friend. We’re talking about the COMPLETE destruction of our country through abject stupidity and interventionism. We’re talking about starting more wars. We’re talking about the end of the country as we know it.

Or, you can elect Obama, who you don’t like, but who is intelligent and thoughtful, and will be better than McCain by simple virtue of NOT being a raving lunatic.

If you can’t see the difference between a psychopath (McCain) and a logical person (Obama) because neither of them is Ron Paul, then you are part of the problem. Think of the bigger picture. Nobody who supports Ron Paul wants to see socialist influences at play, but the alternative of THE END OF AMERICA is a whole lot worse. Open your eyes and drop the idealism. This is reality.
