A Paraphrase of Clinton’s Assassination Comments

Here’s Clinton explaining why she’s still in the race when everyone knows she’s going to lose:
My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.
WTF?
Here’s what I think she really said:
I’m still in the race because anything can happen before now and June. Like, for example, Obama could be assassinated in June like Bobby Kennedy was in 1968.
Wow, good point there. Should you stay in the race after he becomes the nominee too? How about after he’s elected President? We all remember that day in Dallas too, right?
Despicable.
