A Bluetooth Mouse

Ok, so Jason mentioned the other day that he was considering a Bluetooth mouse. I’m naturally hesitant because I don’t like the idea of Bluetooth being on for such a long time, but I wonder what your thoughts are on it. It seems much more harmless than a keyboard, for example.
Have any of you used one? Are they fast? (I hate the delay associated with the older wireless mice) I’m going to be getting myself a new OS X desktop soon, so I’ll be doing a lot from a main command center, but for the times that I want to get on a couch or am out and about I’d like to be able to use a mouse — and a wireless one would be nice.
Anyway, any thoughts pro or con would be appreciated.
