Ron Paul is not a racist, and 2 of those "Ron Paul quotes" are not Ron Paul quotes at all

First off the race quotes he did not even say, they popped up during his last campaign and you even admit he did not say them. Honestly you should remove them from this site. Would you want yourself linked to a quote you did not say? Especially one that creates racial tension. Secondly there is much controversy over the whole (man made) global warming theory. I at on time thought man was responsible, it was what we where taught in school. After doing my own research I believe it is a major scam, But don’t take my word for it, find your own truth. After you look in to it some, ask yourself, What is the Co2 level (ppm) after a volcanic eruption? What is our current level? Last but not least religion, If your atheist and I’m a {insert religion} then I should not have to hide my beliefs from you, nor you hide yours from me. That is the meaning of Freedom of Religion, You are free to believe what you want. His religion quotes mostly pertain to the founding fathers and are spot on when you read our history. You also stated “The problem with the religion quotes is that as an atheist I think a largely secular society is the way to go”. Well him as president would not change society as far as secular/nonsecular, we are that society and no president has ever made me, for or against religion. Communist nations typically have secular societies and look at how well thats worked for them. The U.S.S.R. comes to mind under Lennin they became secular (not all by choice) and then Stalin murdered at least twenty million people of the society built by Lenin. I am sure the citizens thought they where intellectuals, at least smarter than the other nations who blindly follow the church, while in the meantime blindly followed the state all the way to the labor camps.

First of all Ron Paul didn't say this, maybe someone was having a bad day.
Once again, this is not Ron Paul, but if this is a true statistic, then it is not racist because facts are not racist.
Do some research on this, nothing is wrong with spirituality, it only strengthens and empowers a group of people to be connected and to have a healthy belief system. I am scared of the growing Atheist video gamer population because they seem to not have any understanding of how sacred and beautiful life is.
Once government starts teaching morality and spirituality, then you know that the civilization is going to end. I am not a big church guy, but a spiritual institution that recognizes spirit is in a way better place to teach about morality than the secular school systems.
This statement is completely true, and Ron Paul stating this shouldn't frighten you but rather the global elite who want to eliminate morality and values so they can brainwash and subdue the public to be lazy consumers instead of creative inventive individuals who can be successful and create capital.

Weaknesses? The man is a political joke. The only people who think of him as anything other than batshit crazy are the members of his cult-like fanbase.

Ron Paul will NEVER be president. Can anyone reading this actually envision an America wherein a candidate who would abolish the IRS and NATO, withdrawl from the United Nations, immediately and unconditionally abandon the war on terror, support the legalization of heroin, crack, PCP and other dangerous street drugs, allow people to be denied service in restaurants and other business based on their skin color, deny little babies vital health care based on the nationality of their parents and many, many other simply insane positions ACTUALLY GETS ELECTED PRESIDENT???

It's never going to happen, boys and girls. It would be better to take your political drive and energy and put it into a candidate who lives in reality.

He has addressed this conclusively in the media. He did not know anything about what was being written in that newsletter and clearly made his case on the issue. He is the furthest thing from a racist a person can be. He believes in personal liberty and is a champion of the individual’s civil rights. That was an attempt to smear him by people who obviously had an agenda.

You point out that two of these quotations are not his. They were published in a newsletter that used his name it's title. Why do you keep them posted under the heading "5 Ron Paul quotes..."? Why don't you remove them now that you know they aren't legitimate quotations?

Daniel you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to demean a good man due to a couple innocuous quotes about religion. Seriously, you should be ashamed.

Personally I hope Jesse Ventura runs in 2012, but Ron Paul is another man I have tremendous respect for.

what is so scary about these comments? it's truth. I agree that the truth can be scary sometimes but you should really do more research on global warming….its all a scam. PLEASE people get informed!!! and stop believing everything the TV and media tells us.
