The Republican Agenda is Harmful to the Middle Class
Republicans have succeeded in promoting a narrative around being "for the working person" when in fact they take actions and support policies that sit in direct opposition to the average American. We will look at the following points:
- The Republicans are in favor of tax cuts for the richest Americans.
- The Republicans are in favor of shipping middle class corporate jobs overseas because it helps increase the margins of the corporations--who in turn keep the Republicans in office.
- The Republicans are the ones who pushed for banking deregulation which served as the primary cause of the housing crisis.
